Blogroll Template Discussion
Tags
I replaced the topic list of each topic with a tag list. This way people can then look through the blogs in the blogroll by topic easily. Currently it's in a simply comma separated form but I think I can probably format the tag list to look like previously if this looks like a better idea.
Very cool. I like it and was thinking on this myself (how to incorporate tags). If we can get it to look like a regular list that would be cool. If it doesn't look right that's fine. — Larro 2009/04/28 15:34
Nationality
I don't see the reason to mention this on its own section as a) If important it can be mentioned in the description (eg “Writing for topics on Missisipi”) b) each author already can list his nationality on his/her own page.
Contributors
I replaced the contributor list with a link to each contributor's page. This way we can avoid duplicate information (in the case where an author is co-authoring other blogs) and separate information correclty (author info in author pages, blog info in blog pages)
Lists
To create a list you need only 2 whitespaces so I fixed that. I also removed the list format from sections where it seemed unnecessary
Revamp
I like the new template you created larro so I'm going to make it the standard.
Hey, glad you liked it. I've been monkeying around with my home install of dokuwiki and came up with it. It's a hell of a lot easier to read.
I've also found a very nice template called gina-fso.
And I've discovered you can confine tags within a namespace. I didn't know you could do that.
