Ungodly Cynic has been online since October 4, 2006. Initially I began UC as a private, personal place to vent about religion and it's hypocrisy and especially the hypocrisy of those that use it for their own ends. Later coming to the understanding that my real bone to pick was with those that flaunt the “separation clause” of the United States of America. My blog posts are chock full of rants that would bore most readers to tears. I am susceptible to building up straw men and beating them up with my hearts content.

What's in a name? Well, I chose ungodly to signifiy that I am NOT created in any gods image nor should the onus be that I behave as such. And cynic? This one is a bit more tricky as I don't exactly count myself the classic cynic. Though I do believe that society needs a pointy stick to address the error of it's ways. So in that respect; yes I can be counted cynical.

I'm constantly torn about finding a new home and changing the title to better reflect my thoughts. This is ongoing.

I owe a debt of unending gratitude to my mom (TinaFCD of misterjebsblog). My number one reader. Without her I would not be as irreligious as I am (though I suspect she would say the same of me). Love you mom!
