Welcome to the Atheist Blogroll Blogs Directory on Atheist Resources. This is a project I've started in order to keep tabs on all the blogs on Mojoey's Atheist Blogroll. It is a wiki about the blogs on Mojoey's Atheist Blogroll.

Whether these blogs have changed their titles, web addresses, accessibility or if they have even been booted from the blogroll altogether I hope to create a clearing house of sorts on all things related to Mojoey's Atheist Blogroll and the blogs therein (past and present).

Often times I've helped bloggers figure out that they do not have an rss or atom feed. Maybe this wiki will help those out that may otherwise not be so web savvy as the next guy (or gal). I've also been able to bring it to the attention of one blogger in particular who had completely forgotten about Mojoey's Atheist Blogroll when he had changed web addresses (otherwise he may have been booted on account of inactivity or some such).

All those who wish to contribute to this wiki and to help notify these bloggers of potential “problems”; be they technical or otherwise are welcome to join and participate.

Well, it all started when I joined the Blogroll and decided that I wanted to enter every blogs feed into my Google Reader. I have never been more embroiled, enlightened, incensed, outraged, tickled silly or otherwise even found a fellow blogger that I have become fast friends with (Beast!?). I owe in part to the Atheist Blogroll.

The Atheist Blogroll is a community of atheist bloggers and a social network of sorts. But better than a social network because it brings those personal blogs together across all platforms.

Over time I've found it exceedingly difficult to log all the technical details about every blog in my endevours to keep my list of blog feeds accurate and to notify fellow bloggers about such things as changing web addresses without notification in order to stay on the Blogroll. It is my hope that those fellow bloggers out there that hold a similar interest and obsession as I do to contribute to this wiki in order to expand this community and to bring the word of atheist bloggers together even more.

In other words: I need help. .

Each wiki entry should have information about the blog or blog author in question (an “about me” is fine as I myself will most likely be copy-pasting from blog authors “about me's”) and what kind of content is carried on the blog generally. The following might best be left up to the blog author to fill in: Does the blog author write about the bible or other religious text? Are posts primarily about secularism? Science? Is it polemic or congenial in general?

As it stands I am in the process of thinking on a template for each entry (this may change).

1. A blog description.
2. Current URL.
3. RSS or Atom feed URL (if available).
4. Email address of the author (if available).
5. History on the Blogroll.
6. A section on page rank like Tecnorati, Site Meter, Google Page Rank and/or The Truth Laid Bear (etc) related to the particular blog in question.
7. Other sections such as related to bookmarking statistics as Delicious, AddThis, and/or Reddit.
8. A section of nationality (as in possible pertinence to this wiki as we could create an “Austrailian”, “Singaporean” or “British” tags for blogs).
9. A section on general focus of content. As in “Science”, “Secularism” “Ex-Chrisitan” or “Personal”.
10. Anything else is open for discussion.

Optimally, I would entreat every blog author on the Atheist Blogroll to pay a visit here, create/edit their own page and subscribe for notification via email when their page changes.

Those with an interest and the time to delve into this project are encouraged to help in this, our contribution to the atheist blogging community.
